Property Chats

No Fees. No Membership. No Pitch.

An evening out with people who get it

Property Chats are informal get-togethers on the first Thursday evening of the month, 7pm to 9pm. A pub, a hotel lounge or a bar, a drink, and a couple of hours talking about property with people doing the same thing as you.

There is no speaker, no agenda, and no presentation. Nobody is going to sell you a course from the front of the room, because there is no front of the room. Just conversation, and whatever you take from it.

Who Comes Along

Everyone, is the short answer

There is no minimum portfolio and no test at the door. People turn up at every stage, and the mix is what makes it useful.

People who have not started

Plenty of attendees have never bought an investment property. Coming along and listening is a sensible first move.

Working investors

People mid-refurb or mid-refinance, comparing notes on what is actually happening with lenders and builders right now.

Agents, Professionals and trades

The people you will eventually need. Meeting them over a drink beats finding them in a hurry when a deal is on.

People who just like the company

Investing on your own is quiet work. Some come mainly for the conversation, which is a perfectly good reason.

On The Night

What actually happens

01

Turn up and get a drink

Doors from 7pm typically but check your local meeting’s timings. Arrive when you can, the format is relaxed. Your host will find you and introduce you to a few people.

02

Talk to people

That is it. No presentations, no going round the room, no pitching. Ask what you want to ask.

03

Stay in touch

Swap details with anyone useful. Every group has a WhatsApp group running between meetings, so ask your host to add you.

Success Stories

‘Does what it says on the tin’

No sitting in rows, no endless presentations, no shhhhhh’ing, no pitches to buy training, no sneaking in when you can’t make the start time. Best of all, no restricted networking time.

“Networking like it should be, and its free!”

“I can have a 5-minute chat, or a full hour conversation - this is fabulous”

“No stress if I can’t make the start of the meeting, I just rock up when I can get there”

“No pressure to buy training is liberating”

FAQ

Common questions

Yes. There is no entry fee and no membership. You buy your own drink and that is the extent of it.
Yes, it’s a free ticket, but your host needs to know roughly how many to expect and can hold enough space. Groups cap at around 30.
Each group has its own host and all meet on the same evening. Kevin aims to attend one of the meetings every month.
No. A good proportion of the room is in the same position, and the experienced ones are usually happy to be asked.
No. That is the rule the whole thing runs on. If you want to know about Kevin’s training you have to ask.
Yes, every location has one. Ask your host to add you at your first meeting.
Tell us where you are. New groups start when there is enough interest and a host to run them, and hosts are Ninja Investor trained or above.

First Thursday of the month. Costs you nothing.

If you are weighing up whether property is for you, or you have been investing alone for years, this is the easiest way to find out what everyone else is really doing.
